QGeoCity is standalone software showing country and city info from IP address entered. Country and city information retrieved from GeoLiteCity database from Maxmind LLC

QGeoCity 1.4.0 is minor updates of QGeoCity. No major difference between version 1.4.0 with version 1.3.0 rather than few country recognization routines added.

Next minor updates on QGeoCity will released soon. This release only updates region informations on several countries. No multi threading feature which developed for version 2.xx included.

We currently pending development of .NETRFSE because we do not have much time developing more than one project with different programming language.

Next release of QGeoCity scheduled to be released in early 2009. In QGeoCity 2.0 we introduce multithreading capabilities to avoid delay time in showing query results when large query of IP or hostname inputed.
Till end of 2008 QGeoCity 1.xx still supported and minor updates will be released soon.

GeoLiteCity provided by MaxMind is not 100% percent accurate. We can only rely on Maxmind effort to provide more and more accurate IP location information in GeoLiteCity.
So far our QGeoCity only support GeoLiteCity, not commercial GeoIP/GeoCity database. We don't provide access to commercial GeoIP/GeoCity database because we only have free edition database (GeoLiteCity) not the commercial one.
